Providing hockey players with custom-built financial plans so they can thrive in their earning years and beyond.
Just like diet and training regimens, a one size fits all solution doesn’t work for finances. You need someone that takes the time to discover your goals, and develop a plan that aligns with your needs both now and in the future.
With a short career, hectic schedule, and frequent travel, it’s easy to put aside future financial planning. We knew there needed to be a wealth management firm that understood this, and could work with your lifestyle, not the other way around.
We created Uptown Wealth Management to address the needs of pro hockey players, and developed a deeply personal financial planning process that goes beyond choosing where to invest. Your Game Plan will encompass all aspects of your financial picture, including tax planning, family law considerations, estate planning, and post retirement planning.
Our network of hand-picked professionals gives you access to the resources and support you need to pursue your aspirations, all managed under one roof.

Brett played competitive hockey from the time he was 10 to when he was in university, and operated and managed his own roller hockey league. His two sons, Zachary and Ethan, are currently actively involved in the game, and Brett loves to spend time with them and watch them grow as players. He also enjoys a good round of golf.
